What Can Be Customized

At Moissanite Shine, every element of a ring can be customized:

Center stone:

• Shape: round brilliant, oval, pear, cushion, emerald, Asscher, marquise, radiant, heart, and others
• Size: any carat weight DEW, from 0.5 carat to 5.0+ carat
• Color: DEF colorless (standard) or near-colorless GH upon request
• Clarity: VVS1 (standard)
• Cut: Excellent (standard)

Setting style: Solitaire, halo, bezel, cathedral, split shank, knife-edge, nature-inspired, vintage Art Deco, toi et moi, three-stone, and any other configuration — including designs you bring as reference images or describe in detail.

Metal: Sterling silver with platinum plating, 9K gold, 14K gold, 18K gold, or platinum — in yellow, white, or rose gold as appropriate.

Band details: Band width, profile (flat, domed, knife-edge, comfort-fit), pavé or plain, milgrain edging, engraving, and other decorative elements.

Side and shoulder stones: Additional moissanite stones in the halo, shoulders, or band in any configuration.

The Custom Design Process: Step by Step

Step 2: Design consultation and proposal. Our design team reviews your request and responds with a detailed proposal: specific stone specifications, setting design description or sketch, metal choice, and pricing. If you have provided reference images, the proposal will indicate how closely the design can be replicated and note any modifications required by the specific stone shape or size. You can request revisions to any element of the proposal at this stage without commitment.

Step 3: Review, approve, and confirm. Once you are satisfied with the design proposal, you confirm your approval and place the order. At this point, the design is locked and production begins. Changes after order confirmation may not be possible depending on production stage.

Step 4: Stone selection and setting production. Your specified moissanite stone is sourced or cut to order. The setting is produced — cast, finished, polished, and prepared for stone setting. This is typically the longest part of the production process.

Step 5: Stone setting and quality inspection. The moissanite stone is set in the finished setting. The completed ring undergoes quality inspection: stone security, prong integrity, surface finish, and overall dimensional accuracy against the approved design. GRA certification is confirmed and documented.

Step 6: Delivery. The completed ring is packaged and shipped with GRA certification documentation, Lifetime Gemstone Warranty registration, and care instructions.
