What Is the Lifetime Upgrade Program?

The Moissanite Shine Lifetime Upgrade Program allows customers to upgrade their moissanite jewelry at any time after purchase. Whether you want a larger stone, a higher metal grade, a different setting style, or a completely new design, the upgrade program makes it possible without starting from scratch.

This program reflects our belief that fine jewelry should be a long-term relationship, not a one-time transaction. Life changes — anniversaries, milestones, and evolving tastes — and your ring can change with it.

What Can You Upgrade?

Stone size: Upgrade to a larger carat weight. Move from a 1-carat to a 2-carat center stone, for example, as a 5th or 10th anniversary gift to yourself or your partner.

Stone quality: Already have a high-quality DEF/VVS1 stone? Upgrade to a larger stone of the same quality grade, or explore different cuts and shapes.

How the Upgrade Process Works

Step 1: Contact our team through the custom design page or customer service to discuss your upgrade goals.
Step 2: Our team will assess your current piece and provide upgrade options and pricing.
Step 3: You pay only the difference in value between your current piece and the upgraded piece, plus any craftsmanship costs.
Step 4: Your upgraded ring is crafted and delivered with the same quality standards as your original purchase.

How Does This Differ from the Lifetime Warranty?

The Lifetime Gemstone Warranty covers defects in the stone — if your moissanite chips, cracks, or loses its brilliance due to a manufacturing defect, we replace it at no cost. The Upgrade Program is separate — it's for customers who want to voluntarily upgrade to something larger, better, or different. Both programs run simultaneously and complement each other.

When Do Customers Typically Upgrade?

Common upgrade occasions include significant anniversaries (5th, 10th, 25th), milestone birthdays, career achievements, or simply when a customer's taste or budget has evolved.
